Helpful Definitions:
Doctrine of Revelation: The self-disclosure of God. God Himself is the sole and proper witness to Himself.
General Revelation: God reveals his divine attributes in the world.
Special Revelation: God reveals who He is in the Word of God incarnate and the Word of God inscripturated.
Illumination: We come to the Bible entirely dependent on the Spirit to teach.
Inspiration: God is the author of all scripture.
Inerrancy: Without error. God’s word is wholly true and trustworthy in everything that it claims about what was, what is, and what will be.
