  • Union with Christ: 

    • A believers indentification in Christ and incorporation into the body of all of those who are identified with Christ before God.

    • The unbreakable, unshakeable reception of all of God’s saving benefits.

    • Unbreakable relationship with God held by Jesus for His people, received by grace through faith. 

  • Communion with Christ: Fellowship with God. The enjoyment of God’s saving benefits, it is shakeable and breakable and you can also deepen it.

Dr. Jason K. Allen serves as the fifth president of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Allen serves the institution in the classroom, as professor for preaching and pastoral ministry. More broadly, he serves the church through his preaching and writing ministries as well. He is the author of several books including but not limited to; The SBC & the 21st Century and Discerning Your Call to Ministry. Dr. Allen regularly posts essays on his website, jasonkallen.com and hosts a weekly podcast, “Preaching & Preachers.”
